Science Outreach Program at Virginia Tech Carilion (VSOP)

VSOP is the Student Outreach Program at Virginia Tech Carilion. Started by Ubadah Sabbagh, VSOP’s goal is to connect graduate students with the greater Roanoke community through outreach and science communication events.  Under Rachana Deven Somaiya’s leadership, VSOP members received a microgrant to start a science podcast, Big Lick of Science in 2019.
